A new role, bringing WHOLENESS and HOPE to our community
We are seeking to appoint a Parish Nurse to serve our estate communities of Quarrendon, Meadowcroft, Haydon Hill and Buckingham Park. A Parish Nurse is a natural extension of our commitment to love and serve our neighbours in practical and tangible ways, and to express our purpose: ‘To bring wholeness and hope to the people around us through encountering Jesus’.
This new role, in partnership with Parish Nursing Ministries UK, will provide professional nursing care within a Christian framework of compassion, dignity and hope. A Parish Nurse will not replace NHS services, instead they will act as a bridge offering early support, health education, advocacy and compassionate listening, while working closely with GPs and other professionals. This is deeply relational work, helping people feel seen, heard and supported over time.
Our vision for this role is to improve and maintain the holistic health and wellbeing of local people in the Quarrendon Parish and to make support more accessible for those who often struggle to access traditional services.
Salary: £24,176 (pro rata £38,682.00) plus expenses
Hours: 25hrs/wk (flexible working hours, usually Monday to Friday)
